“Following the May elections, The Town Council are looking ahead to the next four years and starting to plan for the future and the development of our community and Town. The last four years have seen many changes within Great Dawley which include a number of large investments that have seem improvements to both the Town Hall and Dawley House as well as our High Street. I am really proud of the community in which I live and represent and look forward to the next four years.”

Shaun attended local Dawley schools and went on to study A Levels at New College, Wellington progressing onto Aberystwyth University where he graduated with a Law Degree with honours.  He now works at a Solicitor for a large Shropshire based law firm. Shaun lives in Dawley as does many of immediate family including his parents and Grandparents.

He was elected to the Great Dawley Parish Council in 2007 and has held various posts including the Chair of the Council. He was elected in 2011 as the Borough Councillor for Malinslee, a post he was re-elected on new boundaries in 2015 as the Borough Councillor for Malinslee and Dawley Bank. In May 2019, Shaun has held the position of Borough Councillor for Malinslee and Dawley Bank. He has been Cabinet Member since 2011.
