Traffic Works Springhill Road 3rd-6th of April 2018
Improvements in your area
We will shortly be working in your area as part of our ‘Pride in Our Community’ investment programme. Over the next three years an additional £45 million will be invested into improving the Borough’s roads, pavements, street lights and structures. This includes the installation of energy efficient streetlights and road signs, a programme of road lining improvement as well as additional investment in repairing local roads and paths and environmental maintenance.
We will be carrying out a High Friction Surfacing Replacement scheme on Springhill Road, Dawley to improve the condition of the highway in this area, the scheme is planned to start on the 03rd April and finish on the 06th April 2018. The works will be completed by our principal contractor Telford and Wrekin Services Ltd, who will be using there specialist contractor Eurovia. Traffic will be managed using multiway lights between Springhill Road and Station Road (heading towards Dawley High Street), Station Road (heading towards Horsehay) will be closed at times during this period, with a full diversion in place around the site
Gareth Pegg is the Lead Officer for the carriageway and footway maintenance programme.
I will be responsible for the works throughout, my contact details can be found below should you have any questions relating to the works.
