Our new community library is now up and running in Dawley House, Burton Street, Dawley (opposite the Elephant and Castle). With a stock of 3000 books which include large print, talking books, junior fiction, picture books and a fabulous local history collection, there’s bound to be something there for everyone to enjoy.
If we don’t have what you want, not only is there a full request service available, but the stock is also refreshed on a regular basis.
There is a full self-service checkout so borrowing and returning books has never been easier.
The library is staffed by volunteers and we are urgently looking for people who could give a couple of hours or a morning each week to help run it. If you would be interested in volunteering at the library please visit our volunteering page.
