Pride in Our Community: Improvements in Your Area – Dawley Car Park Maintenance
Telford & Wrekin Council will shortly be working in your area as part of their ‘Pride in Our Community’ investment programme. Over the next three years an additional £45 million will be invested into improving the Borough’s roads, pavements, street lights and structures. This includes the installation of energy efficient street lights and road signs, a programme of road lining improvement as well as additional investment in repairing local roads and paths and environmental maintenance.
Works will start on Thursday 19th October to complete essential maintenance on George Street car park in Dawley. This package of works will involve re-lining a number of parking bays and rectifying any defects within the car park. In addition to this, some slight changes may be made to the car park to ensure the parking layout confirms to current standards.
Attached above is the drawing showing the planned work.
They will be undertaking the work on the following date:
George Street Car Park – Thursday 19th October
Some areas of the car park will be closed off during this programme to allow the lining work to take place. They have ensured no works are planned on market days to minimise disruption as far as reasonably possible. Please use alternative car parks whilst these works are taking place.
