Councillor’s Code of Conduct – adopted 26 June 2012
Declarations have been extended to include the partners of councillors. The immediate provisions regarding declaration of interests only time from the date of an election there is no provision for requiring interests to be declared other than as they arise. Councillors, notwithstanding this “gap”, should register their interests within 28 days of the adoption of the Code of Conduct or by the 27th July 2012 at the latest.
