Contracts Information

Great Dawley Town Council are currently committed to contracts for a wide range of services including telephones, business support and van hire. All of the current contracts detailed are detailed in the Contracts List below.

When entering into a contract where possible the Town Council obtain a minimum of 3 quotes to ensure value for money, a report including a recommendation is then taken to the next Council meeting to seek approval. Once approved by the Council, The Clerk then will formally enter into the contract.

For larger value contracts or one-off supplies (Such as Christmas lights or installation of public toilet) a tender process is conducted, details of the requirements are made public through an Invitation to Quote. This document is sent to any potential suppliers as well as being displayed as a separate post on our website.
