Playing Together
About the Group
A free session for parents, carers and their children aged under five where children’s play is valued. Playing Together offers you a time to play with your child and experience new and exciting ideas, to watch and learn about your child’s development and meet others in a friendly, welcoming place.
We will….
Offer a variety of toys and activities for you and your child to explore together and ideas for different ways to play. We will support you to get involved and help to offer your child play that interests them. We would like you and your child to have fun and leave with more confidence and ideas to play at home.
Sure Start Children’s Centres provide a range of services for families and young children. These include:
- Free groups
- Parenting and family support
- Information on nurseries, childcare and childminders
- Support and help for parents to move into training and employment
- Contact with other services, including health visitors and midwives
