About the Group
We meet weekly on Thursdays from 10.00am to 2.00pm. We have tea and biscuits on arrival. Age Concern provides transport from home to Dawley House and return home.
People with mobility problems are welcome as our vehicles have disabled access.
The group is run by volunteers who are more than willing in any way possible to help.
We have a raffle and a game of bingo. We also have a two course lunch delivered to Dawley House for which there is a charge. We also try to go out for a pub lunch occasionally or visit places of interest.
The club is ideally suited to the less able older person and its aim is to provide an opportunity to meet and socialise with people who are in a similar position.
