Great Dawley Parish Council organised an art competition for the primary schools in Great Dawley.
The task was to draw Captain Webb or William Ball in any art medium.
We had lots of excellent entries from three schools: Ladygrove Primary School, Captain Webb Primary School and Dawley (Aided) C E Primary School.
The Dawley Art Group judged the entries on the 11th May 2011 at Dawley House.
The Art Group awarded 1st and 2nd prizes for entries from each school.

- 1st prize was awarded to Tess Barnett
- 2nd prize was awarded to Faye Rhodes
