Guest Speaker: Sir Neil Cossons (retired Chairman of English Heritage, first Director of Ironbridge Gorge Museum)
Sir Neil Cossons – We are pleased to welcome Sir Neil who is internationally known in the field if heritage and known locally to many as the first Director of the Ironbridge Gorge Museum. He then went on to further his illustrious career at other nationally renowned museums before becoming the Chairman of English Heritage from 2000 – 2007 when he retired. He generously endorsed the Giants of Dawley book and is giving his time free to be the guest speaker for our event.
